What to bring to Intensives

Everything Your Dancer Needs

Healthy Breakfast Spread

Water & Snacks

There will be two snack breaks each day for dancers to refuel during the long hours of training. Please send your dancers with healthy food choices that are easy to consume such as fruits, carrots, trail mix, string cheese, yogurt, protein bar.

It's important that dancers also stay hydrated during the warm days of summer and a full water bottle is imperative. Filtered water will be provided for refilling water bottles if necessary.

Dancewear

All dancers must have proper ballet shoes, pointe shoes as well if the dancer is on pointe. Dancers must be wearing appropriate attire of leotard and tights; leotards can be any color choice or style, skirts can be worn if dancer chooses too.

Dancer's may want to bring an additional leotard and tights to change into after the pool barre.

Hair must be pulled back off the face and secured in a neat bun. No jewelry is to be worn, with the exception of stud earrings.

Swimming Pool Exit

Swimwear

We are excited to give your dancers a bit of fun in the pool to cool down as well as train their bodies in an environment that takes stress off the joints and allows for greater mobility.

In order to participate in the pool barre, all dancers must have appropriate swimwear: a modest bathing suit, and a towel.

Sunscreen will be provided, however if you have a particular brand that you prefer, you are more than welcome to send your dancer with their own sunscreen.
